Postponement - International Symposium on Diabetic Retinopathy
Due to the unforeseen incidents that happened in Mumbai recently, the National Eye Institute has suspended all NEI-supported travel to India. As you are aware many of the faculty for the proposed Diabetic retinopathy symposium scheduled on 10-11 January 2009 at Aravind Eye Hospital, Puducherry are from the US and they or their families are reluctant to let them travel to India. In this circumstances, we felt it will not be appropriate to conduct this meeting. And so with great reluctance we have decided to postpone this meeting to a future date. We will intimate the dates later.
We are extremely sorry for the inconveniences caused in this regard.
