Mrs. Chitra Thulasiraj Head of Aravind communications Joined Aravind in 1984 She established the publication unit of Aravind in 1984 and from then has been in charge of Aravind Communications.

Mr. K.V. S. Lakshmanan Consulting Editor, Aravind Communications Joined Aravind in 2004 He was initiated in journalism in the year 1955 by “DINAMANI”, the national Tamil Daily of the Indian Express group in which he worked for nearly 37 years, became its News Editor in 1981 and retired as Assistant Editor in 1993.       Mr. Lakshmanan joined Aravind Eye Care System in 2004 as Consulting Editor, taking care of the editing, proof checking and translating aspects of Aravind Publications. He is a writer in Tamil and English, having written short stories, articles and poems numbering above one hundred. He has to his credit a Tamil book in support of learning Hindi, the national language.

Ms. Vani Communications Co-ordinator Joined Aravind in 2006 Her job includes researching and compiling of all events and activities at all Aravind Eye Hospitals, Managed Eye Hospitals, and LAICO.

Ms. Anusuya Aravind News Correspondent, AMRF Joined Aravind in 2005 She is working as Administrative Assistant at AMRF and working as Secretary to Prof.VR.Muthukkaruppan, Director – Research and her responsibilities include Co-coordinating all the activities at AMRF.

Ms. Pavithra Aravind News Correspondent-Aurolab Joined Aravind in 2007 Her job includes coordinating activities in Marketing Promotion department and Aurolab’s plant visit for Aravind/LAICO trainees and maintaining their reports.

Ms. Umapriya Aravind News Correspondent, Aravind-Coimbatore Joined Aravind in 2008 She is working as HR-Manager and Patient Care at Coimbatore. Her job responsibilities include all HR activities in the Hospital.

Ms. Lakshmi Aravind News Correspondent, Aravind-Tirunelveli Joined Aravind in 2005 She is working as HR-Manager at Tirunelveli. Her job responsibilities include all HR activities in the Hospital.

Ms. Anandi Aravind News Correspondent, Aravind-Theni Joined Aravind in 2000 Her job includes coordinating stores activities and maintaining office records at Theni.

Mr. Prasanth Aravind News Correspondent, Indira Gandhi Eye Hospital & Research Centre, Amethi Joined: July 2005 He is working as an administrator at IGEHRC, Amethi. He takes care of all administrative functions in the Hospital.

Ms. Swarupa Banerjee Aravind News Correspondent, Priyamvada Birla Aravind Eye Hospital, Kolkata Joined PBAEH in 2005 She is working as HR-Manager at PBAEH. Her job responsibilities include all HR activities in the Hospital.

Mr. Franco Francis Aravind News Correspondent, Sudarshan Netralaya, Amreli Joined Aravind in July 2006 Responsible for coordinating the day to day operations of the hospital along with developmental activities.
