A PATIENT FROM BENGAL
Mr. Mante Dutta aged around 40 years comes from West Bengal. He has a sweet small family, his wife named Chaitali Dutta and daughter Srabani Dutta. Mr. Mante Dutta’s profession is drawing. In the year 1999 while he was on his work he met with an accident that created hot bubbles in his eye. The bubbles were caused by the reflection of hot sun rays from glass pieces. He went to the Vellore Hospital for treatment. The Manager over there, who was the friend of Mr. Mante Dutta advised him to go to AEH. he came here with his family the same year. When they entered into the hospital, they felt the environment good. He was examined by doctors who found out that he had problem in retina. He underwent a surgery. The family was carried away by the kind hospitality shown and the steps undertaken by the doctors in making them understand the problem and what should be followed. They were happy and satisfied to the extent that it was the sixth time they are coming for follow-up.
The service rendered here made Mr. Mante Dutta advise other people of West bengal to come here for treatment. He now advises many people and directs them to AEH. The two things they found to be as barriers were the language and our food. His daughter adds sugar to the South Indian food to taste like Bengali dishes.
Mr. Mante Dutta now has a dream of his daughter joining this organization and serve as a part of it. The family left the hospital with heart full of happiness and joy. But there will be something that disturbs every one here, the nurses and AEH family members. All these days they had been one among them.
