Dr. G. Venkataswamy Endowment Award at the 26th Annual Conference - USICON 2025

Dr. B. Manohar Babu, Chief Medical Officer, Aravind-Salem, was honoured with the prestigious Dr. G. Venkataswamy Endowment Award by the Uveitis Society of India at its 26th Annual Conference – USICON 2025, hosted by AIIMS Vijaypur, Jammu.
The award recognises his outstanding contributions to the field of Uveitis. Dr. Manohar delivered the special endowment lecture virtually on the title “My Journey as an Ophthalmologist”
Dr. Vidya Ravi Memorial Award for Women Scientist
Trichy, 28th September 2025
Dr. Gowri Priya Chidambaranathan, Scientist, Immunology & Stem Cell Biology, AMRF, was honoured with the Dr. Vidya Ravi Memorial Award for Women Scientist for proving existence of stem cells in trabecular meshwork and its deficiency leading to glaucoma. The award was presented at the National Conference on Advances in Burns Treatment – Thermal and Radiation, held in Trichy.
2025 APACRS Certified Educator Award

Dr. Haripriya Aravind, Chief, IOL & Cataract Services, Aravind–Chennai, was honoured with the Dr. Sundararama Raju Cataract Lecture Medal 2025. She also received the awards for Best Scientific Presentation and Best Team in the Ophthalmic Premier League at the 10th Annual Conference of the Andhra Pradesh Ophthalmic Society- EyeCon Guntur 2025, held at Guntur.
