Arangam – Aravind Intramural Conference

The Arangam – Aravind Intramural Conference, held as part of October Summit 2025, fostered a culture of learning, continuous improvement, and innovation among staff.
This year, over 484 submissions were received from all Aravind centres, organised into four dynamic tracks. The CARE Track focused on operations, process improvements, patient satisfaction, the FOCUS Track on refraction, orthoptics, biometry, spectacles, contact lenses, low vision care, the HEAL Track on clinical processes, case reports, clinical studies, and the TRAIN Track on teaching, training, skill transfer, audiovisual production. The event included instructional courses and competitions such as oral and poster presentations, video sessions, and quizzes. A total of 239 innovative presentations were showcased, with 63 participants winning prizes. In addition to competitive events, participants engaged with learning stalls and poster exhibits, promoting interdisciplinary learning and innovation.
