Dr. Francis Price, an internationally renowned cornea and corneal transplant surgeon, recently visited Aravind-Coimbatore. During his visit, Dr. Price toured the hospital’s clinical and surgical facilities and gained valuable insights into Aravind’s high-volume service delivery model, comprehensive training programmes, and integrated approach to patient care and research.
Dr. Price interacted extensively with residents and faculty of the Cornea Department. He delivered informal academic talks and participated in in-depth discussions on contemporary advances in corneal transplantation, surgical decision-making, and outcomes-driven training.
