Dr. Usha Kim, Chief, Orbit, Oculoplasty, Ocular Oncology & Ocular Prosthetics Services, Aravind-Madurai, attended Reflections 2026, a CME programme organised by the Trivandrum Ophthalmology Club at Residency Towers, Trivandrum. She delivered a presentation titled “Surgical deep dive in oculoplasty: Look before you leap” and participated in a panel discussion on “Red, Hot and Swollen: Understanding the Hot Orbit.”

Dr. Parag K. Shah, Chief, Paediatric Retina & Ocular Oncology Services, Aravind-Coimbatore, delivered an informative talk on “Paediatric Retinal Disease” at the Eye Expert Series Webinar organised by Sankara Eye Hospitals. The session was specially designed for postgraduate students (PGs) and focused on “must-know” topics in paediatric retina.

Yercaud, 10-11 January 2026

Doctors from Aravind-Coimbatore participated in the Tamil Nadu Ophthalmic Association (TNOA) Mid-Year Meet, “EYERCAUD 2026,” held at Yercaud.  Dr. D. Chandrasekhar, Consultant & NABH Coordinator and Honorary General Secretary of TNOA, served as the Organising Secretary of the meet and conducted the Managing Committee Meeting. Dr. V.R. Saravanan, Chief, Retina Vitreous Services,  served as a judge for the Free Paper Session. Dr. Rodney J. Morris, Medical Consultant, also attended the Managing Committee Meeting and presented details of the upcoming TNOA Annual Conference, scheduled for 31^st July to August 2026, where he will serve as the Organising Secretary.
