Dr. Kalpana Narendran, Chief, Cataract & Paediatric Ophthalmology, Aravind-Coimbatore, was an invited guest at the 12th Dr. Purani Endowment Lecture organised by the Department of Hospital Administration, Dr. N.G.P. Arts and Science College, Coimbatore. The theme of the lecture was “Exploring the Impact of Telemedicine on Healthcare Delivery.”

Dr. Kalpana Narendran delivered the chief guest address, speaking on the growing importance of telemedicine and its transformative impact on healthcare systems, particularly in specialised fields such as ophthalmology. She also elaborated on the role of Aravind Eye Hospitals in reaching out to communities through telemedicine services offered at Vision Centres.
