Vision Rehabilitation Update

As part of the observance of Low Vision Month, Aravind-Coimbatore organised a session on Vision Rehabilitation Updates for doctors and optometrists. The session was initiated by Dr. Sandra Ganesh, Head, Vision Rehabilitation Service. Jeyanthi Nirmal, Vision Rehabilitationist, delivered a presentation on low vision management for adults with ocular pathology. Ananda Saravana presented on various digital resources, rehabilitation guidance, and training for individuals with severe vision loss. Swetha, Low Vision Administrator, spoke on the topic, “Empowering future referral pathways for persons with visual challenges.” Medical consultants from the Glaucoma and Cornea Departments, along with consultants from the General OP Department, DNB postgraduate doctors, and optometrists, attended the session.
