Ikshana – Comprehensive Capsule for Postgraduates – Phase 1 (5th Batch)

The fifth batch of Ikshana – Comprehensive Capsule for Postgraduates (Phase 1) was conducted at the ARCORE Training Centre, Aravind-Chennai. This five-day programme aimed to provide postgraduate ophthalmology students with a comprehensive foundation in both theoretical knowledge and practical surgical skills.
The programme highlights included a guest lecture by Dr. Prabhu Krishnan, Medical Officer, Aravind-Madurai, who delivered sessions on “Wound Construction” and “Capsulorhexis and Hydro Procedures.” In another session, Dr. Kavitha, Medical Consultant, Aravind-Pondicherry, shared valuable insights on research and her professional experiences in a talk titled “My Journey. A total of 44 postgraduate students participated in the programme, representing a diverse range of institutions across various cities in India, including Trivandrum, Ranchi, Guntur, Kozhikode, Yadavapura, Bagalkot, Gujarat, Hyderabad, Udaipur, Puducherry, and Chennai
