Annual Glaucoma Conclave of the Ophthalmological Society of West Bengal (OSWB)

Dr. Ganesh V. Raman delivered two keynote addresses at the Annual Glaucoma Conclave of the Ophthalmological Society of West Bengal, held in Kolkata. His sessions focused on Selective Laser Trabeculoplasty (SLT) and Minimally Invasive Glaucoma Surgery (MIGS), where he highlighted various clinical indications and the evolving role of MIGS in glaucoma management. He was felicitated by Dr. Mohammed Yasin, President of OSWB.

North American Neuro-Ophthalmology Society (NANOS) Annual Meeting

Boston, USA, 20-24 March 2026

Doctors from Aravind-Coimbatore participated in the prestigious North American Neuro-Ophthalmology Society Annual Meeting held in Boston.

Dr. Karthik Kumar, Consultant, Neuro-Ophthalmology Services, Aravind-Coimbatore, presented two physical posters titled, Advancing diagnostics in idiopathic intracranial hypertension: A tri-modal investigation of optic nerve sheath measurements and Patterns of ischemic cranial nerve palsy and diabetic retinopathy: An urban-rural and socioeconomic comparison.

Additionally, Dr. Roopesh (University of Pennsylvania), in collaboration with Aravind-Coimbatore, presented a physical poster titled, Seeing through divides: Geographic, socioeconomic, and state-level disparities in optic neuritis patients at a south Indian tertiary centre.
