Dr. Apurba Samanta, Chief Doctor & Director, Samanta Eye Care, Midnapore, and his team visited Aravind Eye Hospital and Aurolab for an exposure visit. During the visit, they were given an overview of Aravind’s genesis and taken on a hospital tour. They also received a detailed presentation on the operation theatre and sterilisation processes. At Aurolab, they met with the senior team and learned about its activities.

Rishi Raj Borah, Country Director, and Dinesh Chandra, Director – Finance & Operations, from ORBIS International, along with Dhawal Marghade, Assistant Vice President, and Anujay Patil, Chief Consultant, from MITCON Consultancy & Engineering Services Ltd., visited LAICO for discussions related to the Carbon Footprint Assessment Report. The delegation met with the LAICO leadership team, including Thulasiraj Ravilla, Director – Operations, AECS, Dhivya Ramsamy, Executive Director – LAICO, and Mohammed Gowth, Senior Faculty, LAICO, to understand the findings of the assessment and discuss the next steps for strengthening these initiatives. As part of the visit, they also visited the Kariyapatti Vision Centre.
