Introduction

Dr. Sabarinath graduated in medicine in the year 2016 from Tagore Medical College, Chennai. He completed a Diploma in otorhinolaryngology from the Christian Medical College, Vellore, in the year 2020. He worked as a senior resident in CMC Vellore until 2022. Then he did his MS in ophthalmology from Aravind Eye Hospital, Madurai in the year 2025. He is currently serving as a medical officer in general ophthalmology.

Research & Publications

Dr. Sabarinath is currently involved in the following ongoing research:

  1. Clinical profile of patients with firecracker injuries.
  2. Pain management protocol for patients undergoing endoscopic DCR.

Activities

  1. He is an expert in performing endoscopic dacryocystorhinostomy under local anaesthesia, having performed more than 250 cases with a success rate of more than 98%.
  2. Provides training to Postdoctoral fellows to perform endoscopic DCR under supervision.
  3. Ensuring availability of clinical manpower in the outpatient departments.
  4. He has presented Several free papers and posters in various national, international, and society conferences.
