This prestigious award recognises his excellence in the field of community eye care in the form of mentoring eye care institutions on a sustained basis covering a comprehensive set of systems, for several years.

Grand Prize at the 10th IIRSI Film Festival Award Show 2024

Dr. Apurva Nagtode, Cornea Fellow, Aravind-Pondicherry, won the grand prize at the film festival of the Intraocular Implant and Refractive Society of India (IIRSI) Convention 2024, held at ITC Grand Chola, Chennai. The award was given for her video titled, AB-Interno Schlemm’s canal surgery: Touch, tear, and thread technique.
