5th World Congress of Paediatric Ophthalmology & Strabismus

Malaysia, 11-13 July

Doctors from Aravind Eye Hospitals, participated in the 5th World Congress of Paediatric Ophthalmology & Strabismus in conjunction with 14th Malaysian Society of Ophthalmology Annual Scientific meeting, held at Kuala Lumpur,  and presented papers, posters, and videos at various sessions.  Dr. P. Vijayalakshmi, Senior Medical Consultant, Paediatric Ophthalmology Services, Aravind-Madurai, was one among the four key note speakers. She spoke on the topic, Transforming disability (visual) to ability in children. It was a proud moment for the Aravind Alumni and participants during the conference when Dr. P. Vijayalakshmi received a standing ovation after delivering her talk.
