Inauguration of the Regional Research Centre

Dr. P. Namperumalsamy inaugurated the Regional Research Centre, established at Aravind-Tirunelveli, in the presence of Padma Shri Dr. G. Natchiar, Prof. K. Dharmalingam, Director-Research, AMRF, Dr. Siddharth, Medical Consultant, Aravind-Coimbatore, Dr. A. Vanniarajan, Scientist, AMRF, Dr. R. Ramakrishnan, Dr. R. Meenakshi, and other staff members. The new research centre will conduct basic and translational research to advance vision science and develop new ways to reduce the burden of blindness.
