The workshop was organised by the Blood & Organ Donation Committee and the Indian Medical Association (IMA), Coimbatore Branch, in collaboration with the Departments of Ophthalmology and Anatomy, Coimbatore Medical College.

She spoke on “Standard techniques in enucleation and safe tissue retrieval,” highlighting the importance of proper procedures, safety measures, and careful handling of donor tissue to ensure the quality and suitability of retrieved corneal tissue for transplantation.
