Dr. R. Jayagayathri
Dr. Jayagayathri graduated in medicine from PSG Institute of Medical Sciences & Research, D.O from Regional Institute of Ophthalmology, Government Ophthalmic Hospital, D.N.B from Aravind Eye Hospital, Pondicherry.
An alumni of the prestigious RIO-GOH, Chennai, she refined her skills by pursuing a comprehensive ophthalmology fellowship and fine-tuned her knowledge with a Diplomate of National Board degree both from Aravind eye hospital, Pondicherry. She then went to join the same institute as consultant in 2009 while subsequently got trained in Orbit and Oculoplasty. She started the department of Orbit and Oculoplasty in 2011 and heads the department till this date.

Always eager to help spread her knowledge, she is actively involved in teaching post graduates. Not limited to Orbit and Oculoplasty, her hands are skilled at IOL surgery too.
Currently, she is the member secretary of the Institutional Review Board Ethics committee. She also has several presentations at the state and national level conferences to her credit.
