World Sight Day – Blind Walk 2026
Aravind-Madurai, 8th October 2026
As part of the World Sight Day 2026 observance, Aravind-Madurai organised a Blind Walk from Gandhi Museum to Aravind-Madurai. The walk brought together doctors, staff and AOPs to raise awareness about the importance of protecting vision and promoting eye care. Madhu Kumari, IPS, flagged off the walk, which witnessed enthusiastic participation from doctors, staff and AOPs. Madurai City Police made the necessary traffic arrangements along the route to ensure the smooth conduct of the programme.
