Our journey in Thanjavur, a historic town, began on 20th April 2025, with the inauguration of our eighth tertiary eye care centre. This marks a significant milestone in expanding our mission of eliminating needless blindness. We are honoured to serve the agricultural community of the Cauvery Delta, where 70% of the population depends on agriculture and allied activities for their livelihood.

Serving a population of 7.2 million across Thanjavur and neighbouring districts, this state-of-the-art facility, spanning 300,000 sq. ft., provides both free and paid services, covering all ophthalmic subspecialties.

The facility includes 14 modern operating theatres, laboratories, advanced medical equipment, separate paying and free hospitals, suite rooms, an IT office and auditorium, classrooms, postgraduate and MLOP hostels, staff quarters, a guest house, parking space, and provisions for future expansion.
